What is?

Post-Consumer recycled Polyester, that is made by using plastic items that have already been used and discarded by consumers,

Most commonly plastic bottles, food containers, and other plastic packaging. Instead of going to landfill or polluting the environment,

these plastics are collected, Cleaned, broken down into flakes, melted, and spun into new polyester fibres,

why it matters

by using post-consumer recycled polyester, it reduces waste, giving the plastics a second life that would otherwise end up in landfill or oceans.

Lowers carbon footprint, produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions compared to virgin polyester made from petroleum

Supports a circular economy, keeps materials in use for longer, reducing reliance on new raw resources

Wash Instructions

Warm wash using a mild liquid or powder detergent, avoid adding bleach or whiteners to the wash, tumble dry on a low heat/cool setting, as microfiber is a quick-drying fabric.

Avoid chlorine bleach & brighteners – While chlorine is a great stain remover and whitener, it can significantly reduce the life of your quilt doona’s by damaging and weakening the fibers. Instead, use an oxygen-based bleach/whitener or spot-treat the stains. Avoid optical brighteners as this chemical can affect the whiteness of your bed linen.
